Already claimed

This section will help you understand the things you’ll need to do once you’re claiming Universal Credit.

You will need to do certain things by visiting the jobcentre and talking to your work coach, but other activities can be done online or by phone.

If you have an online Universal Credit account you will use it to record what you’ve done and make contact with your work coach. If you don’t have an online account you will usually contact the Department for Work and Pensions by phone.
